  1. What are these files which look like a newspaper with a handle?

  3. These files are known as portable digital documents (PDDs). To read them, you need to install QuickDraw GX.  These files contain all of the information to view and print on any QuickDraw GX system, regardless of the fonts or applications installed.

  5. Any application can create them by printing to a "PDD Maker" desktop printer (created in the Chooser).
